After a trip to Cabo last month, I have to say I was thoroughly impressed! Did you know that Cabo only gets 10 inches of rain a year!?! I have to say that again... Cabo only gets 10 inches on rain a year! It seems like we get that in a day here in Vancouver! So if you are looking for a the perfect place to hold a family reunion, wedding... or just to get away... consider Cabo.

We stayed at the Hola Grand Faro. This 300+ room, 4.5 star all-inclusive property was perfect for our group of 18. Absolutely everyone was raving about the food and location. It was a 10 minute walk to a MEGA mart and a 20 minute walk to San Hose Del Cabo. San Hose Del Cabo featured an art walk on Thursday evening that was charming. Of course we ventured into the well known marina town of Cabo San Lucus too! This was only a 20 minute bus ride away.  We took a sunset cruise at Land's End and several of the men decided to go Marlin fishing at the crack of dawn. A Disney cruise ship was in the marina, Cabo Wabo (Sammy Hagar's bar) was rocking and street vendors plentiful. A great time was had by all!
