32 years ago I entered by uncle's Travel Agency as a travel agent apprentice - not knowing Sydney, N.S. from Sydney N.S.W. Ever since then I have been driven to explore the wonderful world we live in, from the dry and hot Kalahari Desert to the cold and windy Beechey Island in the Arctic, where 4 members of the Franklin expedition perished 150 years ago -- and many memorable places in between!

I've lived and travelled in Africa and Europe before settling in Canada 15 years ago.
