The Similkameen valley is arid land. However the Similkameen River flowing through the valley, along with the breezy climate provides the perfect temperatures for producing red wine grapes and organic fruits. Here you will find an abundance of ranches, cideries and vineyards. The wineries produce primarily red wines that are light to medium bodied with generous hints of the fruit and terroir throughout the valley.
