Travelling is an addiction - once you start, it's hard to stop which is why I've been doing it for over 20 years. It's hard to say which place is my favorite; the smell from the food stalls in the Jemmaa el Fna square in Marrakech, Petra at sunset, Machu Picchu at sunrise, rafting down the Zambezi, the Backwaters in Kerala - all spectacular in their own right. I could go on, but I wish to extend this invitation to all those adventure seekers who want to see the world and create their own memories.

All the guides were perfectly wonderful and well suited. They were knowledgeable, and very attentive to making this an amazing and personal experience for us. All the details were taken care of from pick up/ drop off at airport, checking in to our hotels as well as the tours itself. Amazing.
Our guides, Brenda, Isabella, Vicky and Juan-Emmanual and a couple others were wonderful. It Couldn't have been any better, and we couldn't have been happier. They all made it extra special and very personable for us. They catered to our physical needs and energy levels with regards to altitude and hiking which was perfect. Juan Emmanuel was exceptional. He took us on a tour of Sacred Valley, Sascayhuaman, and the Palcayon mountains. My friends and I were very impressed with him. He was very passionate about his Inca roots and history, and it came through in everything he presented. Extremely interesting and engaging. We learned so much from him and felt we got to know the Incans passion as well. He helped my friend Karen when she was especially struggling with Altitude sickness. He took us to a pharmacy right away, and helped her purchase needed electrolytes, and medications that would help her feel better. He was very attentive and we were all then able to enjoy the rest of the tour under the altitude circumstances. He still monitored our conditions throughout our days, and it was greatly appreciated.
We can't recommend him enough. He surprised us on our last day by showing up and being our final tour guide to Moray and Maras last day. We were elated. We hope to come back in a couple years and have him guide us again if he’s still around, maybe in the Amazon? He showed such reverence for “Pacha mama” and his Inca roots. It felt like a huge honour that he shared his personal passion and knowledge of the Incas with us. It reinforced my respect for our mother earth, and I appreciate just what the Incas accomplished in their period of history. It saddens me what happened to them and I appreciate what knowledge they left behind in farming , history, and tourism as well.

We have travelled extensively to most corners of the earth -- especially to places that are well off the beaten track.
Robyn Bentley has an amazing wealth of knowledge and personal experience, which we have drawn upon and from which we have benefited every year for more than thirty years.
She has assembled adventures for us in South, East and North Africa, Central and South America, a number of countries in Asia (including the ‘Stans, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and India) and Antarctica.
Having become familiar with our likes, dislikes and changing comfort levels, Robyn approaches a travel plan by identifying the options which she knows will be of interest to us. She never “sells” a trip without regard as to whether it is likely to be a success but rather explores with us those possibilities which we are likely to enjoy.
In 2012, we confidently entrusted Robyn with the responsibility of arranging a trip to Kenya for our family including two grandsons then aged 10 and 12 years whose mother had never ventured outside North America and who therefore understandably needed assurance that her children would not be placed at unnecessary risk. It was the trip of a lifetime which we all continue to talk about. Robyn knocked that trip right out of the ballpark!

I want to say how much I enjoyed the above trip in September 2022. The variety of wildlife we saw (over 70 different species!); the fascinating people and cultures we encountered in the countries we visited; it was an experience I will always remember with fond memories.
As a representative of PTM (Personal Travel Management), the way you organised the logistics of what was a very complicated tour involving a change of hotel almost every day for 26 days, and three local tour operators, was very impressive. And in advance of the trip, you regularly provided us with updates on the progress you were making with organising the tour and its costs. I encountered a problem in obtaining visas and the help you offered in resolving the issue was above and beyond anything I could have expected. In fact, without your help I may have had to withdraw from the tour. I told friends about the level of service you provided and they were amazed. PTM are very lucky to have you working for them!
During the tour itself everything went according to plan; the transport vehicles were exactly right for the job of exploring the more inaccessible parts of the places we visited; the local guides were friendly and enthusiastic, and the hotels were in great locations and with excellent amenities. The comprehensive background information provided by PTM in advance of the trip was also much appreciated. Every day brought new and memorable experiences of encountering local people whose cultures were so different from our own, and the excitement of seeing such a variety of animals and birds in such abundance. I could never risk being far from my camera!
I can’t recommend Robyn Bentley highly enough and if I get another opportunity to join a PTM tour I know I wouldn’t hesitate.
