Testimonials

Good Moring Jen!
I truly cannot say enough amazing things about Jen! She planned an unforgettable family vacation for our group
of seven to Africa, and every aspect of the trip was absolutely seamless. From airport pickups to border
crossings—and everything in between—every detail was perfectly handled.
Our local guides were exceptional: knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly engaging, especially with the kids in
our group. Their warmth and insight added so much depth to the experience. The accommodations Jen selected
were beyond stunning. Each lodge welcomed us like family, and we were consistently spoiled with delicious
meals and beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms that felt like luxury retreats.
The safaris were nothing short of breathtaking. We saw an incredible variety of animals and experienced
moments that far surpassed our expectations. These are memories we will treasure for a lifetime.
There is absolutely no way we could have pulled off a trip like this without Jen’s expert help. We lost count of
how many times we commented on how smoothly everything ran and how stressful it would have been to
coordinate such a complex itinerary on our own. Jen really listened to what we wanted from the trip, while also
offering fantastic suggestions to elevate the experience—like where to go, how long to stay in each spot, and
unique additions we wouldn’t have thought of ourselves.
We feel so lucky to have had this opportunity and are incredibly grateful to Jen for making it all possible. If
you’re planning a trip—especially one as special and involved as this—we can’t recommend Jen highly enough.
She’s truly the best!

Jen Lubey - Tour Specialist for Africa & South America, with Personal Travel Management, was our trip planner
for our recent adventure in Tanzania.  Jen’s finely honed tour planning skills, extensive experience, well-
developed connections/relationships with African tour companies, guides & properties, & most importantly, her
ability to tailor a plan that adeptly captures her clients’ needs & requests, were all critical elements in ensuring
our family had a 'wonder-FULL’ excursion in Africa.  The very detailed itineraries for both the Kilimanjaro trek
& several safaris our family had included, were seamless.  We felt confident, safe & comfortable with everything
that was put in place for us, from start to finish.  Jen was readily available to us from the first email sent to her 1
year in advance of the actual trip to secure her as our planner, up to the time we were boarding our last flight on
our way home, to answer any question, actively address any concerns & just check-in on how we were doing
throughout the 8 months of planning/finalizing details & during he 3 weeks of the actual trip.  Amazing!  Jen is
an outstanding tour planner & we have already recommended her to our friends considering their next vacation to
Africa or South America.  Thank you, Jen for your hard work & commitment to making our ‘once-in-a-lifetime’
vacay in Africa extraordinary!

Hi Jen,
I am very pleased to write a testimonial for both your recommendations and for all the work you did with the
African suppliers to make my trip the best ever.
First, I really appreciated how you guided me through the process of deciding what to do. You presented me with
options (but not too many to be overwhelming). I am so glad that you recommended that I book exclusively with
Asilia. After what you told me about them, I had high expectations, but they far exceeded what I might have
imagined. All of the documentation you provided in advance only served to heighten my anticipation and your
guidance through the E-Visa applications was much appreciated.
The logistics, and there were many pick-ups and drop-offs, were seamless. I was always notified what to expect
the next day and it always happened. There would be a smiling person at some remote airstrip with a sign with
my name
The four Asilia camps could not have been better; Encounter Mara, Ubuntu, the Highlands and Olivers. Each had
their own unique features, but all shared the same attention to detail, fine food, lovely tents and the kindest staff.
This was especially important for me as a woman of a certain age (ok, 79) travelling on my own.
I can’t say enough about the quality of the guides in each location. They were exceptionally knowledgeable
about the animals, the habitat and the ecosystem. They could drive over the roughest terrain while still scanning
for animals. They could convey their knowledge as true teachers who loved their subject. It was so much fun
when you could sense their excitement over sighting of a cheetah or the start of the Great Migration. This was
not just a job, it was an avocation. They wanted to share their love of their country.
I loved each of the accommodations. The wake-up coffee at 5:30 brought to the tent was a perfect start to another
exciting day. The laundry was picked up early and brought back each evening. And no-one is dressed up so you
could travel with a minimal wardrobe.
So, there you have it. A wonderful, in the true sense of the word, time. Happy to chat with you whenever.
