Overview

Dreaming of a Italian villa yoga retreat? This bucket-list trip is departing October 2019! This small group tour of 12-14 individuals will start the day with a yoga session at your private villa (appropriately named Villa Ristorare) then experience the local wine, olive oil processes and learn about the nutritional benefits of the vegetation in the area.

Itinerary

Your Yoga Instructor: Tanja Zauner

Yoga Type: Vinyasa

This can be thought of as flowing into postures. Moving in and out of postures is the obvious movement but even in stillness, Vinyasa is represented by the beat of your heart and inhale/exhale of your breath.

Day 1 - October 12, 2019


Arrive at your Tuscan Villa.

Arrive at your Tuscan villa by 4pm in time to enjoy some evening yoga. In the evening settle in and enjoy an antipasti reception before dinner.

Day 2 - October 13, 2019


Yoga and Pasta Making

Start you morning with some yoga. Then take off on a walk (approx 2hrs on country roads; transportation available) to Spedaletto and a stone flour mill. Learn the difference between heirloom varieties of wheat and stone milled flour vs. industrial flour and their effects on our bodies. Evening yoga available.

Day 3 - October 14, 2019


Yoga, Wine, Olive Oil and Relaxation

Start your morning with some flowing yoga. Then head over to the eco-friendly winery in Montepuciano. Enjoy a light lunch before stopping in Monte Folloncio on the way to your villa. Relax before dinner.

Day 4 - October 15, 2019


Explore Centona

Your morning can start with yoga. After a relaxing start to the morning visit Centona for oil tasting and lunch. The presentation will focus on the health benefits of extra virgin oils. Finish the day with an evening yoga session.

Day 5 - October 16, 2019


Free day to relax

Choose to start your morning with yoga. Enjoy your surroundings at the villa. There is an optional pasta making class.

Day 6 - October 17, 2019


Yoga, Foraging and Yoga

After your morning yoga session, head over to Cetona and go foraging for edible plants that you will use in your meal. This is also a learning opportunity as you will learn the nutritional benefits of the plants.

Day 7 - October 18, 2019


Free day

Start your relaxing day with yoga and then enjoy the surroundings of your villa. An optional past making making class is available at the villa.

Day 8 - October 19, 2019


Goodbye

After a final breakfast say goodbye to your new friends before continuing your Italian experience or onward home.
