An overview of AMResorts offerings
AMResorts are a luxury brand of all-inclusive resorts in the sunny southern destinations of the Caribbean. And we say luxury, but we don’t mean unaffordable either or not appropriate to family vacations! Q: Families need space and a separate room for the kids! Which property provides connecting rooms and/or family size suites:
A: Many of the resorts in the collections offer connecting rooms upon request at check-in. The Sunscape Sabor Cozumel, Sunscape Puerto Vallarta and Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun are just some to name few of the properties that include a room category with a completely separate bedroom.
Q: Kids Clubs – these allow adults to spend time to together and relax. They also allow kids to play with other kids. What training do staff have?
We have a comprehensive kids program in our all kids clubs. Plus, all staff working in the Explorers Kids Club have completed their first aid training through Red Cross in their respective countries so it’s not only fun for the kids but also peace of mind for the parents.
Q: Sustainability – Its on everyone’s mind when they travel. What policies/practices are in place at AMResorts properties to protect the environment and support the communities they are operating in?
Our resort teams have initiatives in place to remain sustainable and socially responsible. These initiatives include:
- Separating recyclables from waste
- Participating in clean-up programs of local beaches and natural areas
- Sourcing as much local food as possible for use in resorts
- Donating products to local organisations
Many resorts in the brands are Rainforest Alliance certified.
Q. Snorkelling – which resort is the best for this?
Every resort is located on the beach and offers complimentary use of snorkelling equipment. For the best snorkelling experience though, stay at the Secrets Akumal, Sunscape Akumal, and Sunscape Sabor Cozumel.
Q: These days, we want to have some kind of connectivity. What is the wi-fi situation?

Additionally, this app is loaded with resort information accessible by the guests at their fingertips. Q: What is one thing everyone should not forget to pack?
